GROWTH AND SPORT

Many of us will say with confidence that over the years and centuries a person is becoming higher. However, having traced the stages of evolution, it can be noted that man did not always grow. The acceleration stages lasted for an average of 500-600 years, and then suddenly people became smaller again. Archaeological excavations have repeatedly shown that at different times a person could reach height from a meter with trifles to two or more meters. Moreover, these stages were not lined up chronologically, but, on the contrary, were random.

One of the main factors shaping growth is environmental conditions in a given period. And, accordingly, each growth has its pros and cons in terms of survival. If we transfer the factors of global formation to today’s man, then we can safely say that each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. And, using them rationally, we can get the highest results, either in a particular sport or simply in life.

Usually a person always wants something that he does not have. And the more unreal the acquisition of the desired, the stronger the desire itself. However, perhaps you should not complex and try to get the unreal, and try to squeeze the maximum from your data?

If you are a small person

To begin with, your data clearly gives you a better chance of a long life. Indeed, according to statistics, it is people with an increase of less than the average who usually become long-lived.

People of short stature have high stamina in all respects, because their whole body works more smoothly. Among the reasons for coordinated work are a few. So:

Firstly, all body systems are located compactly. This facilitates communication between them, increases the reliability of the nervous and hormonal regulation, blood circulation and respiration, as well as metabolism.

Any sport whose results depend on endurance. This could include long-distance running, swimming, any aerobic sports. But it should also be noted that small people (in terms of proportions) can lift much more weight than people with tall stature.

If your height is above average

People with tall stature have the power to be envied. No wonder all bogatyrs were always considered winners, and their height was under 2 meters.

In the body of a big man there will always be more muscles than the body of a man of short stature, which means that with comparative indicators in strength exercises, the giant wins.

Also in a large body there is a synergistic effect much more relevant. After all, when a large number of muscles strain at one moment, the energy production will be more proportional.

Your sport

Sports in which the result depends on the height of the jump, strength. This could include basketball, volleyball, sprint, sports in which a one-time power jerk is important.
