Record Tournament Vladimir Dolganov

Young skiers of the Omsk region won 17 medals in the tournament of Vladimir Dolganov. This result was a record for the entire history of the Omsk performances in competitions named after the famous countryman.

VI All-Russian competition “Festival of youth sports of the Omsk region in cross-country skiing” for the prizes of the master of sports of international class Vladimir Dolganov ended in the sports and recreation camp “Alpine”.

This year’s traditional tournament gathered 314 athletes from Omsk, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk regions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories and Kazakhstan.

Competitors who won prizes in each age group were awarded with diplomas and medals, valuable gifts from sponsors and organizers. The prizes were handed over by Vladimir Dolganov, who is a native of the village of Znamenskoye and a participant in two Olympic games. The best of the best were determined in 6 age categories.

“It’s great that Vladimir Alexandrovich attends competitions and personally presents awards,” noted the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Omsk Region, Anton Skorobogatov. – This is also a part of our tournament, so that the younger generation will know the sports heroes. By the way, the festival has already set a kind of record, having collected more than 300 participants. I think next year it will be beaten again, because the organizers are planning an even more intensive program with a large number of participants from different regions of the country.

On the first day of the tournament, athletes challenged medals in free style races with a separate start. The champions are Nikita Petrov (Tomsk Oblast, born in 2007–2008), Dmitry Yermolovich (Omsk, Tarsky, born in 2005–2006), Daniel Plotnikov (Novosibirsk, born in 2003–2004), Irina Vetchinova ( Novosibirsk, 2007-2008 b.), Alina Ivanova (Omsk, Azov, 2005-2006 b.), Arina Oreshkina (Omsk, Lyubinsky, 2003-2004 b.).

From Omsk also Ilya Portrekin (“silver”), Alina Khudorozhkova (“silver”), Ekaterina Kuyanova (“bronze”), Karina Goncharova (“silver”) also got prizes.

The second and third day of the competition were given for the individual sprint in a classic move. Omsk again appeared on the pedestal. Arina Oreshkina (Omskaya, Lyubinsky, born 2003–2004), Dmitry Yermolovich (Omskaya, Tarsky, born 2005–2006), and Yegor Baranikhin (Novosibirsk, 2003–2004) are champions of the sprint tournament. .), Alina Barkova (Novosibirsk, born 2007–2008), Valeria Davidenko (Novosibirsk, born 2005–2006) and Nikita Ryabikov (Kemerovskaya, born 2007–2008).
Four more Omsk players got into the prize troika: Karina Goncharova (silver), Ilya Portrekin (bronze), Alina Khudorozhkova (silver) and Anna Zeleneva (bronze, Muromtsevsky, born 2005–2006).

Finally, on the final day, the most spectacular races were held – with a mass start. The main awards were won by Alina Barkova (Novosibirsk, born 2007–2008), Alina Khudorozhkova (Omsk, Muromtsevsky, born 2005–2006), Nikita Ryabikov (Kemerovo, born 2007-2008), Arina Oreshkina ( Omskaya, Lyubinsky, born in 2003–2004), Yegor Sedogin (Novosibirsk, born in 2003–2004) and Kirill Maltsev (Tomskaya, born in 2005–2006).

Omichy won two more awards: Liana Zavorukhina (“Bronze”, Azov, born 2007-2008) and Karina Goncharova (“Silver”).

It is worth noting that at the festivals of skiing in the Gorky district representatives of the Omsk region initially did not perform very well, but always won medals. If at the first tournament in 2013, only one silver and two bronze awards were found in our region, Omsk performed better and better with each new tournament and this year they brought the score to 17 medals.

Note that the most titled Omsk athlete – Lyubinsk skier Arina Oreshkina – won three gold medals in the Vladimir Dolganov competition in three years. Karina Goncharova and Alina Khudorozhkova are also successfully performing. They have 6 and 5 awards respectively.

“We are specially preparing for these competitions,” the seven-time champion of the tournament, Arina Oreshkina, admitted. – We work with the coach hard and try to show a good result on the track. I love skiing, so I’m happy to go to the start. Today, too, ran well, despite the fact that the rivals were very strong.
