Being the main part of the general physical culture in society, sport, as a way of educating the physical character of a particular individual, is widely popular not only in Russia, but also abroad.
In sports, competitions are organized, both local and international, such as the World Championships, Europe and, of course, the Olympic Games. It is the latter that are the personification of friendship and equality of all people and citizens of the planet before sports. It is the Olympic Games that are a symbol of beauty and entertainment in any country that has the right to conduct them, or rather, which is given such a high honor and has the confidence of the whole world.
The world of sports is diverse, there are various types of it, starting with football and ending with windsurfing. By type of sport is divided into professional and amateur. It was in professional sport that our numerous eminent, outstanding and best athletes found themselves.
Now about sports in Russia. For example, in hockey, we know such names as Valery Kharlamov, Vladislav Tretyak, Vyacheslav Fetisov, Boris Mikhailov, Pavel Bure, Alexey Yashin, Sergey Fedorov, Alexander Ovechkin, Ilya Kovalchuk, Viktor Kozlov. At the same time, the wonderful career of V. Fetisov, who is doing everything to date so that our hockey, or rather, its level did not decrease, cannot but rejoice.
Of course, the fate of the great athlete Kharlamov, who was the CSKA forward, cannot but touch. The heyday of his hockey career came in the period of his work in the top three, which consisted of the attackers of the CSKA sports club – Mikhailov, Petrov and Kharlamov. This trio has glorified these attackers all over the world and made them the idols of millions. It was Kharlamov who had been predicted a brilliant sports career, but fate had a different fate for the villain – in the early eighties, on August 27, V. Kharlamov died in a car accident. In figure skating Irina Rodnina shone for many years and only now this outstanding athlete, opening the veil of secrecy, told how difficult and difficult it was for her to win among the gossipers and envious. Such famous athletes of this sport as Olga Pyleva, Albina Akhatova, Olga Zaitseva, including the male team – Maxim Chudov, Ivan Chemizov, Nikolay Kruglov. Their victories are unforgettable for the true patriots of Russia, their hearts come out of happiness when they take the Russian flag to the first place. I would like to hope that the athletes will find themselves and show both the Germans and the Norwegians the true nature of the Russian soul, which is not afraid of any obstacles and that will rise and do everything for the victory of our multinational country. It should be noted that it is very encouraging that many athletes, having retired from professional sports, have found their purpose in something else. For example, the presenter or presenter of television programs (Alina Kabaeva) or Svetlana Zhurova, who is a member of the State Duma and who, like no one, understands what needs to be done for Russian sports. It is very pleasant to look at their lovely faces and understand that these people have earned their titles with the hardest work.
It is impossible not to mention such an athlete, as Isinbayeva Elena, who is a multiple record holder of the world and Europe, and also won the Olympic Games. This cute girl with a smiling face is the personification of the strength and will of our country. Fans simply idolize Elena, sending her thanks and appreciating her talent, paying tribute to her hard work. Russia is a country of numerous sports traditions and many names of athletes should always be heard in our hearts. People from various sports, for example, Kostya Tszyu (boxing), Dmitry Nosov (wrestling). Alexander Povetkin (boxing), Alexander Tretyakov (bobsled), Larisa Lazutina (skis). Julia Chepalova (ski), they all deserve respect and our respect.
