School of sports and combat sambo
Sambo (“Self-Defense without Protection”), like some other types of wrestling, was developed in the USSR. November 16, 1938 is the official birthday of this sport. It all started with the release of the Order of the All-Union Committee on Physical Culture and Sports “On the development of the fight of the free style.” But much earlier, Spiridonov (specialization — methods of self-defense from boxing and national types of wrestling) and Oshchepkov (specialization — judo) developed independently from each other combat systems, which were combined into a single system, on the basis of which training in schools of the NKVD was built. Synchronized swimming
In synchronized swimming, Russian athletes are always at their best. Even at the Olympics in Athens (2004), when in the finals of the group tournament the music of our athletes Ermakova and Davydova were turned off twice, they still took first place.
Water ballet (the original name of synchronized swimming) is quite a young sport, it appeared only in the 20s of the last century in Canada and very quickly gained popularity in other countries. But climbing has always stood out especially on this list. Pole dance (pole)
Pole dance (or pole dance) is a type of fitness that includes acrobatic and choreographic elements performed with a pole. By the way, a horizontal pole was used before, but as soon as it was placed in an upright position, the popularity of pole dancing increased dramatically.
